Bored...

I'm so bored now. And i'm returning to my routine of MTV for a few hours straight... The new alanis video, 'eight easy steps' or sumthin like that... didn;t disapoint. On the other hand, there's this new rock group called 'Rooster'... -slaps forehead- How on earth did they come up with such a sucky name... AC/DC, silverchair, sum41, beastie boys, quarashi, the strokes, linkin park, slipknot, transplant, rage against the machine, metallica, jane's addiction, rasmus, audioslave.... all these names give you a sense of rebellion... sex, drugs, alcohol...... you think of screeching riffs and ear-numbing drum routines.... Then Rooster comes into the picture..... Their music sucks.... their videos are vomit inducing ... and they pose as punk rockers.... they're a digrace to punk.... along with simple plan, the faders and Avril lavign ..... they're just a bunch of posers banking in on the sudden influx of punk/pop in the industry..... pop is passe.. (don't get me wrong, i hated that era of britney and A1)..... and Rooster's another pop group in pop/rock attire... they, or their manager know that punk rock or pop/punk sells.... and that on the other hand, most pop music caters mainly to girls in their teens, gays and guys who just drool at the sight of britney.... The group 'The Bravery' has a corny name... yes.... but nevertheless they churn out hot numbers and they don't seem to be posing in their videos.....
